About the event

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Cara Wright from Merck Animal Health for an upcoming Starting Gate webinar on Navigating Moral Distress in Equine Practice.

Moral distress is something many equine veterinarians experience—often early and often—but rarely talk about openly. In this session, Dr. Wright will help unpack what moral distress looks like in real-life equine practice, why it shows up, and how to recognize it in yourself and others. The goal is not to have all the answers, but to build awareness and give you tools and language to better navigate these situations as you move through training and into practice.

This webinar is designed especially for veterinary students and early-career veterinarians and will offer perspective, reassurance, and practical takeaways.
