“I am in a new sports medicine practice in New England and I am one of the members of the Northeast Decade One group. We have had two meetings so far, and I have found them to be extremely beneficial and I am so very grateful to have joined the group.
To me, the content is extremely relevant and neither too basic nor too advanced. Additionally, since we are “age matched” by time in practice, the networking benefits are tremendous. Depending on your knowledge level going into the meeting you may or may not be “learning” something new. But you WILL be refreshed and re-energized and motivated to tackle some of the business related tasks that you’ve wanted to deal with, but may have put on the back burner as the day to day stresses of practice and life take priority. Since you are also in a practice that specializes in a niche, you will also benefit from the networking with other colleagues of your own age. I have already had a couple of the group members ask me about referral services, and I will also be likely to refer to other group members when relevant.
You are also going to have access to the minds of two of the leaders in veterinary practice management! And you won’t be in a crowded room at AAEP with every 10-20 doctor hospital practice owner sitting next to you. You will really feel comfortable asking the business related questions that are relevant to your specific practice.
We also have our own Facebook group and we use it regularly to ask each other business related questions, basically just picking each other’s brains for what trial and error system has worked, etc.”
