Regional groups of 20-25 members are formed from veterinarians seeking networking opportunities with peers, interested in helping each other succeed, and wishing to learn more about the business aspects of practice. Members are recruited from equine veterinarians in their first decade of practice or practice ownership who live and practice within the regional group location.
Each regional Decade One group has monthly virtual “check-in” meetings to discuss current challenges and successes, and two in-person meetings per year. In addition, there is an ongoing member forum for questions and concerns between meetings. Each Decade One group meets for 3 years (6 in-person meetings).
Members share meals and enjoy time for networking with their peers at in-person meetings, and have the opportunity to stay connected through the monthly “check-in” meetings held by Zoom.
Decade One facilitators facilitate meaningful exchange between the members, and provide ongoing support between meetings.
